Job Interview/ Job Ethics/ People skills Project
Today, being ethical and hiring people with strong ethics is something that is appreciated on a global level. Because the concept of ethics is so widespread, it goes without saying that questions related to ethics will be asked during interviews. Job interviews are considered stressful situations for any person aiming at being accepted for any job vacancy. Being asked about job ethics adds to the stressful situation even more. Those types of questions are extremely critical and the way you answer them might be the reason for getting the job.
In groups of five you are asked to prepare a mock job interview where six questions asking about your people skills need to be answered. You are asked as well to answer the following questions asking about job ethics.
- Why Should a Person Have Work Ethics?
- What are the most important ethics in the workplace?
- What do you consider to be your most important work ethic?
- Describe Three Work Ethics values that you have.
Your question and answers need to be submitted as hard copy before the presentation of the interview.
Your grade will be divided on your presentation and the quality of your answers. Your choice of the six job interview questions along with the way you present your answers in the ten minutes’ interview during class time will determine the grade of the Job Interview Project. The quality of your answers for the four given questions will determine the grade of the Job Ethics Project as for your answers for the rest of the questions will determine your People skills project’s grade.
All group members have to participate in the interview. If a member is absent, she will automatically take a zero and the rest of the group will present and no makeup project will be provided.
