Major Analytical Paper 2500 words. You are required to write a 2500 word research paper on a major event of your choice

Order Description
Major Analytical Paper 2500 words.
You are required to write a 2500 word research paper on a major event of your choice.(This limit does not apply to any appendices you might have.) I deliberately use the term major (rather than mega) as you may wish to focus on a global event such as the Olympics, F1 Motor Race, the (soccer/cricket) World Cup – even the Eurovision Song Contest– or, a less “global” one such as The Festival of Perth, Womadelaide, Big Day Out or the Adelaide Festival. A major Singaporean festival is also acceptable. You will need to take into account the principles of sustainability (social, economic and environmental) as well as the history of “your” event. Your research should extend beyond the boundaries of your text book (there are some suggestions of other publications you might use at the beginning of this guide.)
The thrust of this paper should be as complete an analysis as you can manage. Use of theoretical frameworks from related fields of study are encouraged – tourism, management studies, anthropology and the social sciences in general all provide fertile ground for you exploration (as Getz points out). A general description – or plain descriptive writing will not be enough! Don’t forget that all festivals and events will have both “good” and “bad” sides to them and it is important to point out any negative effects that may transpire as a result of the event’s staging. Many of these negative effects are often noticed before the event and after and may impact on different types of stakeholder, so you need to take a long term view of the event and examine the socio-cultural and environmental issues that may be involved. Who benefits and who loses out? NEED CITATION AND PROPER APA FORMAT REFERENCING. REFERENCE MUST BE TAKEN FROM SCHOLARLY/ACADEMIC SITES. PLEASE NOTE THAT THEORY MUST BE USED!
