Form substantial response to the following two questions on organizational culture and hierarchies.
1. Select an organization of your choice (profit, non-profit, or even one where you work) and first, briefly describe its organizational culture.
(For profit could include any organization discussed in your text. Non-profit organizations could include Red Cross, Salvation Army, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association, YMCA, etc.)
2. Determine (and briefly discuss) the hierarchy of your chosen organization covering the elements of chain of command and span of control of various roles. Do you think this company can accomplish its mission with the chosen hierarchy?
