Custom Subject: Hospitality Management.

You will write a 700-1000 word paper discussing various aspects of your hotel including: an introduction of your hotel with a brief history, stars, departments, forecasting, rates, group business, amenities, front desk experience, payment and technology. All of the assignments you have been turning in will assist you in your writing. In fact, you can go back to your saved work, and use that as a launching pad to discuss your hotel of choice. A template has been provided for your paper and is in Course Files. When using the template, be sure to delete notes and other directions that have been typed on the template. The notes are in red italics, but please make sure your final paper is in all black, Times New Roam, size 12 font. Please do not turn in a paper in which you forgot to replace “Your Name Here” with your actual name. ๐Ÿ™‚ Make sure your research is thorough, and combines theory with actual facts about the hotel. You may have to call your hotel of choice for some of the required details. Be sure to adhere to the template, and keep it between 700 and 1000 words and you will do fine. The paper is worth 100 points.

POWERPOINT

You will create a Power Point based on the information in your paper. It will consist of slides which include an introduction of your hotel with a brief history, stars, departments, forecasting, rates, group business, amenities, front desk experience, payment and technology. Likewise, a template has been provided for you and can be found in Course Files. Your presentation will be graded based on the information and design of the slides. Be creative and include many pictures. This presentation is worth 50 points.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Be sure to pick a property that interests you so that the work is fun. Don’t be afraid to share things about the hotel that may not be glamorous… this often proves for an interesting paper. ๐Ÿ™‚
