Assignment
(Sociology_Criminology)
You have learned about criminological theoretical perspectives from our text and in our discussions.  Select a recent or historical crime and apply theory to the crime, victim, or criminal.  Summarize the crime and then using the theories as a framework, analyze all aspects of the crime.  I’m interested in your application of theory than the accuracy of your analysis of the problem itself. You should make use of outside research materials and additional readings as well as your textbook. In addition, please make sure you are using proper citations and that you include a reference page formatted in APA style.
2 pages double-spaced

This paper is design to improve your critical thinking ability; help you understand and apply theories of criminology to crimes, and to improve writing skills.  The paper will be scholarly in tone and will be organized in a coherent manner.  Contractions and colloquialism are to be avoided.  The past tense should be used throughout.  The writer will not refer to him or herself in the first person.
